Essential Question(s):
From a business/ industry perspective, how is a video package further developed (in content) once an identity has been established. How do you keep your sponsors and viewers engaged?
Unit PBL: Video Package Production, Show development, Pre-production….The next two weeks of instruction will be dedicated to creating pilot shows for Brooksquad TV…The goal is to produce a weekly show that will be housed on a newly developed Schooltube Channel.
Key Vocabulary: streaming, Fair use, copyright laws, bumper music, fade in/out, audio sweetening
What am I teaching?
Show development by way of the creating a myriad of entertaining and informative segments that relate to and are geared towards the PHS student body and Staff.

Collaborative brainstorming (segment ideas)
Treatment construction
Video Package Approval
Electronic News Gathering (ENG)
Post-Production
Project Feedback and critique
Project Revisions
Project submission
Brooksquad TV Show construction (with completed segments)
How will students be assessed?
Observation, small tasks to ensure understanding, Project/ assignment benchmarks, student feedback by way of survey and critiquing activities.
Differentiation/Accommodations:
Students will be placed in mixed ability learning communities so they will be able to contribute based on their strengths
